William Aldridge m. Elizabeth Brookland 1880, they had three children 1881, 1884 & 1887 before Elizabeth died 1890. 1890 census has shows William with three more children, all shown with the surname Parsons, however two, Arthur Henry and Robert Edward Lee, were registered with the surname as Aldridge with records indicating both were illegitimate, the third Gladys May is registered as Parsons, with mother's surname given as Aldridge. William married Jane Aldridge in 1896. Both Arthur and Robert assumed the name Parsons
