Son of John and Sarah Ann Jarvis; Husband of Mrs G. Richards (formerly Jarvis), Seabreeze Cottage, Lynmouth. Brother to Richard Francis Jarvis also listed on Lynton War Memorial. Embarked with 22nd Howitzer Bde at Sydney, Australia 14th Apr 1916 on board HMAT Ceramic. Died as result of enemy shell exploding outside his dugout at an ammuntion dump near Ploegsteert. Married in London whilst on leave. |
